Dear Participants, Partners and Memphis Community,
We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, participants, partners and others very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will practice social distancing. We have temporarily closed our office to protect and care for those who work with us, our participants, partners, and the public.
We will miss seeing you at The J. E Walker House, but we’re still working from home to protect our staff and participants, where service remains uninterrupted. You can also find us on our social channels to keep updated.
Our participants will not miss any training during this time as we have moved all classes and sessions to on-line learning via our website www.southmemphisrenewal.org /youthbuild. This protects our participants and keeps them on track for education, leadership and workforce development, we are exciting to keep them on track and moving forward, while protecting their health and safety as well.
We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our participants, staff, partners and communities as needed.
For more information about COVD-19 and what you can do to keep healthy and safe, visit the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov or your local health department’s website.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey T Higgs, executive Director
